A Little Piece of History
The core of the building is a 200 year old farmhouse with a great history. Over the years, it has operated as Tate's Inn during World War II, The Red Door in the 1960's, John L's in the 70's and 80's. Most recently, the establishment was known as Gentleman Jim's, and in 2012, Elaine's Tap & Table was created.
Over the years, many distinguished guests have passed through these doors, including: Jimmy Cagney, Meyer Lansky, G. Gordon Liddy, and Jack Nicholson.
We look forward to adding you to that list.
